Uber is soon going to start its food delivery service, UberEATS, in India!

UberEATS started in Los Angeles in 2014. Now, it has extended to 58 urban areas. It additionally exists in Bangkok, Singapore, Tokyo, Hong Kong and Taipei also.

This is a significant investment, it spans multiple cities and regions, and it has the potential to change the food industry - with the push of a button - in one of the most vibrant food cultures in the world,” said Allen Penn, Asia Pacific's head of UberEATS.
“UberEATS is powered by the same technology that makes its transport mobile app efficient and cost-effective, getting great food delivered to you is now as easy as requesting a ride,” in Uber blog.
 Uber is right now hoping to set up a system of eateries, business partenrs and logistics in India, before starting UberEats.

Uber's rival in India Ola, though had launched a food delivery service, Ola Café, back in 2015, but was forced to shut down in one year due to immense competition from other food delivery services.Let's hope the very best for UberEats in India.
