HMD Returns Nokia To The World

Everybody (at least we Indians) remembers Nokia, right? Well, they are now back in action again! HMD, a Finnish company that develops mobile devices under the "Nokia" brand name. They announced on Sunday that the company will be releasing a stylish, inexpensive phone that will be powered by the Google's Android operating system. However, it will launch in China for now.

The phone will be having Snapdragon 430 SoC processor, a 16MP primary camera at the back with PDAF, 8MP front camera, a 5.5-inch screen Full HD display with 2.5D curved glass and will also come with a strong 4GB of RAM. The body of the phone will be made out of aluminium, a move that was highly unexpected and a rarity in budget phones. 64GB storage, microSD slot, dual-SIM connectivity, Dolby Atmos sound with stereo speakers, Bluetooth 4.1, LTE, 3000mAh battery, and a fingerprint sensor. The phone will be running on Android 7.0 Nougat. The Nokia 6 will be in China priced at 1,700 ¥ (INR 16,800). It will be sold in China through online retailer JD.com .
The Chinese smartphone market has over 550 million users and HMD will have to compete with established Chinese handset makers  Xiaomi, OnePlus, Vivo, Oppo and Huawei.

Anyways, let's hope the very best for HMD and Nokia 6.
